Return & Refund Policy

At Terrastratas, we are committed to delivering high-quality, custom-made 3D printed topographic maps that reflect the unique landscapes and moments that matter to our customers. Because of the nature of our products, we have specific guidelines in place for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

General Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges for eligible non-customized items within 14 days of delivery. To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method or initiate an exchange within 5 business days.

Custom & Personalized Orders

All of our topographic maps are made to order and often include custom text, location coordinates, framing, or sizing based on customer input. For this reason, we do not accept returns or refunds on any custom or personalized items unless the product arrives damaged or defective.

We take care to provide detailed mockups and clear communication prior to production to ensure the final product matches your expectations. Customers are encouraged to review all design proofs carefully before confirming the order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing info@terrastratas.com. Include:

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damaged or incorrect item

  • Your order number

Once reviewed, we will offer a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. In certain cases, we may request that the item be returned to us or that the packaging be retained for shipping claims.

Shipping Your Return

If a return is approved, we will provide you with the return address and any necessary instructions. Unless the return is a result of our error, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
